 Chris and his wife Megan live in North Olmsted and are the proud parents of a wonderful daughter.  

Professionally, Chris has served his community for over 20 years.  Since 2016, Glassburn has been the owner and president of a successful small business in North Olmsted, providing professional services to local businesses, non-profits, and

Professionally, Chris has served his community for over 20 years.  Since 2016, Glassburn has been the owner and president of a successful small business in North Olmsted, providing professional services to local businesses, non-profits, and governments.


Prior to Serving as State Representative, 

Glassburn served as the Councilman for Ward 2 in North Olmsted.  He previously served on the North Olmsted School Board.  Chris is a member of the League of Women Voters and in his spare time volunteers with the Maple Elementary PTA Produce Market distributing food to those in need. 


Chris is a lifelong Northeast Ohioan.  Born in Painesville, Chris grew up and graduated high school in North Olmsted.  He has a bachelor's degree in History from Baldwin Wallace College.

 Glassburn has been active in working for his community.  He was named the 2020 Civilian Of The Year by the Western Cuyahoga FOP for his work with the Makers for Medics campaign producing over 10,000 face shields for healthcare and first responders.

On City Council, Chris led as the Chairman of the Finance Committee, balancing the city budget each year.  Some highlights of his work on Council as include:

• Lowered city property taxes three times for a total of 1.5 mills to help residents afford school levies.

• Doubled the city's road repair programs by securing numerous county, state, and federal grants.

• New city park features such as walking paths, bathrooms and baby changing stations.

• Small business grants to help local companies survive the pandemic.

• Creating North Olmsted's programs for helping  seniors and low income families with home repairs.

Chris will fight to get our money back from Columbus.


• Glassburn's top priority is fighting inflation and reducing the cost of living.  His plan includes:  


  • Reinstate the 10% property taxes credit paid by the State of Ohio on local taxes.


  • Stopping utility rate spikes through increasing energy generation and holding utilities and extreme ene

  • Increasing the Seniors' property tax exemption and expanding resources for fixed income residents.  


  • Increase Columbus' share of paying school funding, the largest driver of local property tax.  


Glassburn has led on several bipartisan efforts that have passed to become law in Ohio.  He will continue to work to deliver results for our community.
